Even so, after many Windows fans agreed the changes were positive, there still remains a big chunk of users that aren’t happy with Microsoft’s decision and want to revert back to a pure Windows 7-like Start Menu.
There are solutions available
With this in mind, there are many apps that bring back the old Start Menu. One of the more popular third-party Start Menu apps is StartIsBack. Many were afraid that the Windows 10 Creators Update would mean the end of third party apps since there was no guarantee for support. Luckily, StartIsBack pushed out an update that brings it to version 2.0 and guarantees support for the Creators Update, great news for those that use it to replace the original Windows 10 Start menu.
StartIsBack is once again back
There’s good news and not-so-good news for those anxious to try StartIsBack 2.0. For starters, the app is not free. There is a fee involved for those that really want to get back to the old days. The good news is that there is a trial version which will allow them to try the product out before committing to a purchase.
