Setting up Skype on your Alexa device

First of all, you need to make sure that your Alexa device is compatible. You can see the compatible devices at the bottom of this image. Once you have determined that your Alexa device is compatible, set up your device using the app for Android or iOS. Then go to Settings > Communication > Skype and link your account. Finally, sign in using the same Microsoft account you use for Skype. Pretty easy really.

How far has Alexa been integrated?

Last week, I wrote about Alexa being available for download directly from the Microsoft Store. Also, since Microsoft owns Skype, this new integration probably does not come as a big surprise. Still, knowing that you can now link Windows, Skype, and Alexa will certainly make a lot of users happy.

What does this mean for us little people?
