The Xbox One S is not only smaller, but it also has a sleeker design. At E3, Microsoft showcased its vertical stand, an optional accessory for this console that costs $19.99. The current Xbox One console has an external power supply but the Xbox One S comes with an integrated power supply. The new model supports 4K Ultra HD video playback and users are able to play content from the Windows Store or Xbox Store. The new console supports HDR gaming as well and comes with an improved controller, which has a new texture making it more grippable. Microsoft also improved its Bluetooth and wireless range, but these are the only confirmed details about this console. Rumors suggest the Xbox One S will feature an HDMI 2.0a/b port, a slim optical drive design and a more compact thermal solution in order to prevent the chassis from overheating. It seems that the Xbox One S has the same 1.75 GHz AMD octa-core APU (2 quad-core Jaguar modules) processor and 853MHz AMD Radeon GCN architecture (inside of APU) graphics, backed by 8GB DDR3 RAM.
