Having no deadline means that Windows phone users as they will be able to make the transition to Windows 10 Mobile whenever they want. In this manner, they can install a much more stable version of the OS than the current one. The information was confirmed by Dona Sarkar, chief of the Windows Insider Program, on her Twitter account: Microsoft has never really pushed Windows phone users to upgrade to Windows 10, just like it has with Windows PC users. The company probably decided from the very beginning not to limit the free upgrade period for Windows phone owners. This is a good strategy as the unlimited Windows 10 Mobile upgrade period represents an incentive for Windows phone users to remain faithful to the platform, while it may convince other to join the ranks instead. It appears that things are different when it comes to user attitude regarding the Windows 10 upgrade. While many PC users are digging their heels deep and refusing to upgrade, most phone users want to upgrade to Windows 10. The only issue is that many phone models are incompatible with Microsoft’s latest OS. If your phone has 512MB of RAM, Microsoft doesn’t recommend you to upgrade, although there are cases where users installed Windows 10 on such phones. Maybe the best solution in such cases is to upgrade your phone too. RELATED STORIES YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT:
