Currently, on Windows 11, all wireless connections such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular networks will be disabled when you click on Airplane mode. With the new feature, if you turn on your Wi-Fi or Bluetooth while on Airplane mode, the next time you turn on your computer, it will remember your preference. This will make it easier for users to stay connected to their headphones.

More improvements coming

The wireless connection feature is not the only thing in store for users. Microsoft is also working on some improvements to the Notification Center. The high-priority notifications will now be stacked and shown at the same time. This way, users won’t have to miss extremely important notifications. This feature can be tested out in the preview update that has been recently released. There will be less clutter in the notification feed with the new improvements. Aside from the notifications, the Start Menu and taskbar will also soon receive new updates that will allow more customization. Users will be able to display as many apps as they would like in the Start menu. While all this seems to be good news, there is no specific date for the official arrival, but it is highly likely that they will be included in the next Windows 11 update, probably in October 2022.
