The Xbox app for Windows 10 now goes by the number of 5.5.20022 and features some new options and performance improvements. In case you didn’t gen an automatic update, you can force it manually, from the app page in the Windows Store (Beta). As for improvements and new features, the now features new Game Hubs, better social controls, and more options to manage your Game DVR videos. Also, there’s an option for setting your own hotkey for some of the function of the app. Also, Microsoft continues with deploying its users as testers, even with single apps, like Windows Xbox App, because you’ll be able to test the streaming feature in order to help Microsoft to draw the most of it. Although you can test the game streaming feature, you can’t actually stream them yet. But there’s a chance this feature will be added as a part of Xbox One June update, some time after E3. The reason why this feature isn’t available yet is probably because Microsoft wants to collect data based on your feedback and combine it with its own testings in order to create, the best possible, fully optimized game streaming feature. It’s very good to see that Microsoft is updating its Xbox App regularly, and we expect to see even more great features which will take gaming on Microsoft’s consoles to the whole another level.
