Microsoft released this patch to improve the stability of the Windows 10 OS. However, just like all the other updates, it came with some issues of its own. According to one user who installed the update right after its release, folders saved on the SSD are no longer accessible. The user described the issue as follows:
Once you installed this tool on your system, you will see a list of available updates. You can simply hit the “Hide updates” button to hide KB4499167.
