This build brings a long list of known issues for Fast Ring Insiders. Moreover, users are also reporting some additional issues that Microsoft failed to detected before pushing the red button.
Windows 10 build 18885 reported issues
1. Evaluation copy error message
One user reported that he encountered an annoying evaluation copy error message. This message was noticed by both Fast and Slow Ring Insiders. However, it was not visible to Release preview Ring Insiders. The message states: At the time of writing this article, there is no official fix from Microsoft to resolve the issue. Windows Insiders are trying some workarounds on their own. You can try the above-mentioned fix. However, it is not a guaranteed solution as it may not work for some users.
2. Green Screen of Death bugs
Another user reported that the installation failed with a GSOD error code. He rebooted his system and the ran into error 0xc1900101. The user managed to create an ISO file for build 18885 and the installation successfully completed with this method.
3. Intel 4000 Display driver blocked
The update caused Intel 4000 display driver to stop working. One user explained the issue in the following manner: Windows Insiders already reported these bugs on the Feedback Hub.
