One concerned user sparked the discussion on the official Microsoft’s community forum. It concerns Lenovo Thinkpad and substantial performance downgrade after the April Update took over. This is what he had to say, besides recommending to avoid the update for all Lenovo ThinkPad users. Furthermore, the concerned user also stated that his ThinkPad E480 worked exceptionally prior to the update and that it’s a brand new model. So, even if the freezing/BSOD issues are doubtfully common on the old configurations due to compatibility issues, this is a new model which is strictly optimized for Windows 10. We can only hope that Microsoft provides some solutions for the affected users. Meanwhile, we recommend avoiding the over-the-air updates. Rather, we recommend using the Update Assistant. You can get it here. That way, the compatibility issues are to be avoided. Meanwhile, don’t forget to share your experience with the April Update. Is everything running nice or this is another hastily appended major update? RELATED STORIES YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT:
