However, it’s not all bad news. Capcom has also announced that cross-platform play will also be available. This means that if you have a PS4 and you neighbourgh has a PC you can play together. The various supports used no longer constitute a drawback. This will turn all the Street Fighter fans into one grand player base, with people being able to compete against one another in fierce fights. This is quite a surprise because it is for the first time when Ps4 users actually have the chance to confront PC users. And there’s more good news for PS4 owners. Sony has decided to bring Ultra Street Fighter IV to this console. Obviously, this is a win-win situation both for Capcom and Sony, as well as for the fans. Capcom has not yet announced the official release date for Ultra Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V, so we’ll need to stay tuned to their blog to see what’s new. Till then, you can get a glimpse of what’s to come from this trailer version. However, the decision to release SFV exclusively for Ps4 and PCs is a bit controversial since it is clear that Capcom could win much more money if they released this game for Xbox as well.  But what matters most is that this decision is a huge PR blow to Microsoft.
