Windows 10 Fall Creators Update arrives this fall Microsoft will release a follow-up of the Creators Update this fall. The next essential Windows 10 Update, which was also known as Redstone 3, will simply bear the name Windows 10 fall Creators Update.
The Fluent Design System is Windows 10’s new design language
Project NEON will be one of the most important new features to come along with the upcoming Windows 10 Update. A few native Windows apps have already started to feature the new design language, which explores some blurring and transparency effects.
Microsoft Fluent Design System features
The Executive Vice President of the Windows and Devices group at Microsoft, Terry Myerson, offered viewers a glimpse of the most essential features of the new design language. Users will be able to enjoy intuitive and responsive “cross-devices experiences” and their interactions will become more harmonious. Developers will get the chance to deliver experiences that will be present on various devices featuring a vast palette of input options. In other words, Microsoft will soon start using a new design language for its cross-platform apps which will feature more consistency than before. The company will also provide specific design guidelines for developers. Microsoft’s target is now an improved functionality of designed apps that will work perfectly with keyboard, mouse and touch input.
