December Patch Tuesday improves Windows’ security
Well, first of all you should know that the December security release includes security updates for Windows, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Skype for Business. While that doesn’t sound very basic, the updates aim to improve usability and security in normal tasks. As such, everything related to virtualization and the Windows Kernel is less vulnerable to external and internal attacks. Also, external devices like game controllers, web cameras, and other peripherals, get the same treatment. Microsoft Scripting Engine and Windows Server are not left out. In addition to non-security updates, the December Patch Tuesday updates also include fixes for all vulnerabilities that affect Windows 10. What can I expect from the new cumulative updates?
You can expect a more secure update process, an errorless diagnostics process, and day-to-day tasks should be less prone to security errors and vulnerabilities.
