Microsoft is now allowing more apps to the Microsoft Store than before. However, they are quite specific and reserved when it comes to the kind of applications that they allow on their platform. They still hold the rights over directories where the applications downloaded are installed. However, there are plans underway that will change this. Microsoft is currently running tests that will eventually grant users control over the directories where they install games....

Default lifetime The default lifetime of a recording will be 60 days or 30 days for A1 users. However, admins will be able to disable the feature if they don’t want recordings disappearing into the ether. Troy Hunt, founder of the ‘Have I Been Pwned?’, recently obtained a copy of the stolen data set. In precise numbers, hackers gained access to 65,469,298 passwords and emails from Tumblr users. However, these passwords were not in plain text but were hashed, or turned into a different string of digits. Tumblr didn’t reveal which algorithm exactly was used to access passwords and emails, but a hacker known as Peace claims he used SHA1 to hash the passwords....

The cybersecurity firm Abnormal Security recently uncovered how malicious players built an Office 365 phishing site targeting remote workers that use the platform. Today, the company exposes a similar attack that exploits calendar invites. As always, phishing attackers impersonate credible authorities, such as your employer, bank, or the government, to gain your trust. If you’re an Office 365 user, they could target you via any app or resource available on the platform....
