The app is now available free, for personal use with a service that resembles a lot to the one business has in Microsoft Teams. You will be able to chat, make video calls, assign tasks, invite any participant you want, share location and files with your friends and family.

Microsoft Teams for friends and family

Microsoft Teams is also continuing to offer a 24 hours free video calls, which is the same preview version that was introduced in November last year. You can met with up to 300 people in video calls for a maximum time of 24 hours. This time limit is expected to change though once the pandemic ends. This preview was initially launched on iOS and Android and now the access on web and desktop app is next in line. Moreover, when using Microsoft Teams for personal use you will also be able to activate the Together mode which is a feature that uses AI to place you together with others in a virtual space. Is not necessarily something new, since Skype has been offering the same back in December last year but is great to have it available here as well. All in all, having Microsoft Teams for friends and family chats and video calls is definitely more at hand and will increase consumers satisfaction for sure. Will you be using this feature?
