Users reported on Microsoft’s community forums that Cortana in Windows 10 Preview now works without any problems. In addition, Microsoft also said in its official Windows 10 Preview build 14378 announcement blog post it resolved one issue with Windows 10’s virtual assistant in the most recent Preview build: “We fixed an issue where the link in Cortana to download a speech language would open the Settings app homepage instead of going directly to Settings > Time and language > Language.” According to Insiders, an issue with downloading a speech language for Cortana wasn’t the only thing that affected previous Windows 10 Preview builds. Users had to deal with even more problems, including various crashes and bugs. However, it looks like everything was solved in this build, and we should give Microsoft credit for that. Cortana is one of the most important features of Windows 10, and just like Microsoft wants the Anniversary Update to be clean and bugless, it also wants its virtual assistant to function without any problems, once the update gets released to regular users. If you encountered some problems with Cortana in previous Windows 10 Preview builds, let us know in the comments if build 14376 solved the problem. You can also let us know about other problems that affected you in this release, if there are any, of course. RELATED STORIES YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT:
