All these applications have currently the status “Installation Ready” which means they could hit anytime the Windows Store, so be ready. People with Windows RT devices have also confirmed that they found the same on their devices. Here is the list of the core Windows 8 applications that will get soon an update:

Microsoft Bing Travel Microsoft Camera Microsoft Bing Microsoft Reader Microsoft Bing News Microsoft Photos Microsoft Bing Finance M icrosoft Sky Drive Microsoft Xbox LIVE Games Microsoft Zune Video Microsoft Bing Weather Microsoft ZuneMusic (Xbox Music) Microsoft Mail Calendar People Messaging) Microsoft Bing Maps Microsoft Bing Sports

However, this isn’t a pretty strong argument to suggest that Windows Blue is coming after this. It’s nothing more but an overhaul of all the Windows 8 core apps made by Microsoft itself. If Windows Blue will ever happen, we shouldn’t expect it any sooner than this summer. The reason for updating these apps has been known for quite a while – users are disappointed by some core Windows 8 applications like Mail or Music. Let’s that these won’t be slight updates, but ones that will actually fix the issues that many of us have reported. What I personally look for is for Microsoft to update the Mail application. Many times, I have experienced serious issues with the synchronization of my emails. We’ll wait and see what Microsoft has prepared.
