Available apps for the Surface Laptop owners running Windows 10 S

Microsoft made it very clear that even if the install and the update processes are still in preview, the apps themselves are not. Here are the applications that are currently available:

Excel Word PowerPoint OneNote for Windows 10 Outlook, Access, and Publisher (which are not available in preview for Office 365 Education plans)

The apps are the 32-bit versions and the 64-bit versions are still not available in the Windows Store. Regarding the Office Mobile apps, they were previously the only versions of the Office apps available on the Windows Store. Now, the company repositioned them in tablets and smartphones featuring screens under 10.1-inches. If we take into consideration Microsoft’s Mobile designation for the apps, this probably makes more sense. It’s important to note that the preview period limits the Office apps to Surface Laptops running Windows 10 S. The apps will become available for purchase and installation on other Windows 10 devices after the end of this preview. Microsoft is offering Surface Laptop owners a cool bonus, consisting of a year of free Office 365 Personal for laptops that arrive during the preview period. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
