Just like Windows 10 Insider, Microsoft Office Insider deals with the newly added features and functions for Microsoft’s Office suite. Microsoft’s suite is widely used and recognized as the top solution in its segment that can be used when you are in need of docs, graphs, slides, tables and others. The suite is available across multiple platforms and therefore Microsoft developed Insider programs for most of them. Windows users were, of course included, as well as macOS users and even mobile users on Windows 10 Mobile and Android. The big absentee from this little party is obviously Apple’s iOS. This isn’t a thing anymore, however, as Microsoft recently announced that it is now including iOS in the Office Insider program as well. This is great news since it opens new possibilities for users that use Office. And now, owning an iPhone is no longer an inconvenience from this perspective. The Office Insider program for iOS devices will only include the Fast Ring however, with no current information on when or if the Slow Ring will open for this user category. Microsoft’s Fast Ring is the group of Insiders that receive new updates the fastest but at this cost of those builds being more buggy. Once they are more refined, they move down to the Slow Ring. Here, they are a much more accurate representation of what someone can expect from the build on release day.
