The long road to RTM
The first thing that needs to be met is the release of the Spring Creators Update to the Fast ring and the second one is its roll out to the Slow ring. A build reaches the Slow ring within a week from its release to the Fast ring but this time, the period between releases was just three days which suggests the fact that the quality is the one targeted by Microsoft. The company has also been doing some unrequested A/B testing on Insiders, and only part of the Slow ring users have seen the latest build of Redstone 4 right on the spot.

At the end of March, Dona Sarkar from Microsoft announced that the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17133 (RS4) had been rolled out to Windows Insiders in the Slow ring. She also stated that as part of the rollout, Microsoft is testing the engineering systems that are responsible for the deployment of feature updates of the operating system to customers. Sarkar explained that this means that not all the Insiders who are part of the Slow ring would immediately receive the flight. Full availability to the Slow ring began on Monday, April 2nd. In order to put your hands on the final build of Redstone 4, you just have to open Settings, go to Update & Security – Windows Update. Click Check for Updates, and that’s all.
