The QuickBooks multi-user mode service fails to start

On Microsoft’s official support page, the company states that the QuickBooks multi-user mode service doesn’t start and it displays error “Windows could not start the QuickBooksDBXX service on Local Computer.” and “Error 193: 0xc1”. Microsoft also tells us that the update doesn’t include any known issues. To download this build, you will have to head over to Windows Update on your computer and check for updates.

The multi-user mode in QuickBooks allows more users to collaborate on the same company file and also at the same time. All the users must be networked, and they all have to own a QuickBook license.
