Microsoft recently released this update aimed at fixing display resolution issues on AMD graphics cards. As a quick reminder, there were only three display resolutions available on this type of cards: 800×600, 1024×768 and 1280×1024. So, even if you display is capable of supporting a wide variety of resolutions, as long as you’re running AMD legacy card drivers version 22.19.128.0, you won’t be able to access your device’s full potential. Update KB4057291 fixes this problem on Windows 10 version 1703 (Creators Update) and Windows 10 version 1709 (Fall Creators Update).
