Here is the changelog of the Windows 8.1 update for the IM+ app:

Support for Windows 8.1 New Small and Big tiles Support of MSN contacts in Skype Ability to send messages to offline VK.com contacts New emoticons Ability to see who of your ICQ contacts are connected on mobile Message queue Performance improvements and bug fixes

The guys over at WpCentral have did a very fine job explaining what these feature mean in detail, so if you’re an avid IM+ user on Windows 8, I suggest you to have a read. For those of you who are a new to IM+, you should know that it is called the “all-in-one messenger” because it connects to a plethor of chat services such Windows Live Messenger, Facebook, Skype chat, Google Talk, AOL/AIM/iChat, Yahoo!, ICQ, Vkontakte, Mail.Ru Agent, Odnoklassniki, Yandex chat, Mamba.Ru, Mig33, SINA Weibo, Renren, Fetion, Gadu-Gadu, MeinVZ and Jabber. There’s no need to download all the above mentioned messaging web clients or apps – just use the IM+ in Windows 8.  You can choose the free or the paid version of IM+.
