This extension is basically a fork of Mozilla’s Facebook Container add-on and this can run next to other container add-ons such as YouTube Container which isolates YouTube.

The Container is a new feature of Firefox that enhances privacy

Mozilla implemented the Container feature in the browser a while ago and it lets users run sites and services in containers to separate them from the rest of the browsing data and sessions. This feature triggers enhanced privacy because sites are prevented from full access to all browsing data such as cookies. This also triggers less tracking and profiling.

Google Container covers the bulk of Google

Google Container supports the main google.com addresses and country domains, blogpost domains, and more Google properties. The extension doesn’t support all Google’s domains. Google Container works automatically and whenever you type the URL of a supported domain or click on a link that leads to one, the site will be opened in the Google container to isolate it from the rest of the browsing session. The first time when you run the extension, you are signed out of your Google account. Google cookies will also get cleared. You can sign in to your Google account inside the container and that session will be retained. In case you want to be secure while surfing the internet, you will need to get a full-dedicated tool to secure your network.  Install now Cyberghost VPN and secure yourself. It protects your PC from attacks while browsing, masks your IP address and blocks all unwanted access.

Known issues of the container

The extension doesn’t come flawless as it has a few issues such as the fact that embedded-like buttons and comments won’t work and you will not be able to use Google authentication of sites that usually use this if they are not loaded in the container.
