However, mobile device compatibility is yet to be confirmed as many users haven’t been able to install the File Manager on their devices. Most likely, this is due to an incompatibility issue. However, it’s very unlikely for Microsoft to solve this problem any time soon. The company already confirmed it would no longer support Windows 10 Mobile starting December 2019. As a result, the big M will invest zero time and effort into its mobile platform. As a quick reminder, the Windows File Manager as a project was kicked off in 2018 and Microsoft is making it possible for it to be available on all devices running on Windows 10. Windows File Manager Project is conserved on Github. It can be downloaded and installed by anyone running on Windows 10. Though, this may not be an easy task for beginners. All users are permitted to make their own contributions, suggestions, and ideas about the Windows File Manager on the Github page. So, if you have any ideas on how Microsoft should improve the File Manager, feel free to share your ideas. However, it should be noted that as for the Windows File Manager, the company is not having plans to make any major changes to this project. But sending in your ideas won’t hurt anyone.
