Microsoft starts rolling out Dark Mode on mobile and Outlook.com

After releasing Dark Mode in Edge Canary and for OneNote Insiders, Microsoft is finally rolling out Dark Mode on mobile and Outlook.com. Dark Mode was a very popular request, and now it comes to help mobile users view emails, calendars, and other files in dimly lit environments. It will also help them save battery life. Outlook for Android already auto-switches to Dark Mode when Battery Saver is enabled, and other apps will get the same ability.

More Office apps will get Dark Mode

Although a dark theme for Outlook was already in place, Microsoft is extending its Dark Mode to multiple apps, as Jon Friedman, Head of Microsoft Office Design is highlighting in the company’s announcement: What’s your take on the new Dark Mode for mobile and Office.com?
