Is the AA gun too powerful in Battlefield 1?
Overall, the problem is that both sides are over-exaggerating the issue and refuse to find the middle-ground. DICE has a long history of doing a poor job at balance in the past, which explains why Battlefield 1 gamers tend to overreact. The real problem is not AA’s damage capabilities, it’s its range. On most of the maps, if the AA is placed in the middle of the map, this means that planes can’t get anywhere close to the action. Daring to fly above the area, is synonym to suicide. Other players suggest that one solution that needs to be put in place immediately is for AA’s rounds to travel much slower and make it possible for pilots to actually escape their wrath by performing advanced maneuvers.
